The Civil Defense responds to all major fires and
may be ordered to other incidents by the Civil Defense Commander.
Since the organization of the unit in the region, there has been a
substantial decrease in incendiary fires.
The daily activities of the Civil Defense Team include:
- On call 24 hour ambulance team
- On call fire fighting team
- Day and night safety patrols (increased during
weekends and
special occasions)
- Drop points at dangerous road crossings. |
