Brummana’s reputedly moderate climate was also cited by Arab
and non-Arab tourists to Lebanon, and has clearly been one of
the major attractions of the region for summer Arab tourists in
the past. Temperatures in Brummana, for example, which are at
750 meters altitude, are several degrees lower in the summer
than they are in Beirut, and in a way selective between the
Western or maritime slopes and the Eastern or inland slopes.
This makes it much easier for families with
children to spend summer vacations in the region, since they can
more easily enjoy outdoor activities.
Its summer season begins in early May and end in mid-October.
Its temperature never exceeds 28ºC (82ºF), with a lower limit of around 20ºC (68ºF).
Its relative humidity in summer runs at 68%.
